Our Position on Privacy

We believe your data belongs to you. MangaCatalogue collects the absolute minimum necessary to operate. We do not sell data, build profiles, or share information with third parties for commercial purposes. If we cannot guarantee the safety of your data, we prefer not to collect it.

What We Collect

MangaCatalogue currently collects no personal data for visitors browsing the catalogue. No accounts exist, no login is required, and no tracking cookies are set. Standard server logs (IP address, pages visited, timestamp) are retained by our hosting provider OVH for security and diagnostic purposes and are not used by us for analytics.

Request Submissions

If you submit a request via the Request page, the manga title and any additional details you provide are stored in our database. No name, email, or identifying information is required or collected. Submitted requests are used solely to prioritise additions to the catalogue.

Cookies

MangaCatalogue does not set any cookies for visitors. No analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking cookies are used.

Third Party Services

Cover images are hosted on our own servers. No external image hosting or content delivery services are used that would allow third parties to track visitors.

Future Changes

If user accounts or analytics are introduced in future, this policy will be updated before those features go live and visitors will be informed. Any analytics implemented will be privacy-respecting and will not share data with advertising networks.
